Am I simply wishing it so ...or does it seem NIU wins more than 50% of the coin tosses each season?

I don't recall us taking the ball too often but nearly always choosing to defer and take wind....

What's your take on our record of winning more coin tosses than loosing thru first seven games this season and from recent past seasons?

How do captains go about choosing heads or tales?

Is it all purely and only a matter of luck and streaks?

...in NCAA 2006 tails never fails.
LOL I was totaly going to say that!! Like when I'm watching the game (or at the game) I tell ryan how if they used this play from NCAA they'd score... he always tells me to shut up... then I get hit with something!!

EDIT: I think it's just luck.... I don't think there is a coin toss strat.

EIDT2: but it's all in good fun :) I love Ryan!! :)

Could it have something to do with the coin's denomination? What about the year? Do the Huskies win the toss when more valuable coins are used? How many times do the Huskies win the toss with each denomination of coin? Do older or newer coins work better? Do coins with sharp images work better than well-worn coins? What about foreign coins? Do Latinos on the team play better when a coin from a Latino country is used? Does the winning team get to keep the coin? If so, where does the money go? If a team wins too many tosses and gets to keep the money, is this an infringement on NCAA rules, unless it's delared to the NCAA headquarters? Does ithe coin have to be returned to headquarters when a quarter is used and it comes up heads?

Damn, Cybes, as usual you leave me with so many questions!
I know nickels usually land with the tails side up.
