Cribbs just returned a kickoff 90 yards for a TD for the Browns against the Lions.

They mentioned he is a rookie from Kent State.
The one announcer sounded shocked that a kid that went to a MAC school could cut it on Sundays.

That's O.K. Josh is used to shocking people on the football field. :D
Just this once I'd like to hear the Fox guys say, "boy, this kid from Minnesota is really something! I mean, he goes from playing Illinois to the NFL! Wow!"

In the example you gave- the case would still apply...

"Illinois-NFL" Wow! 03-lol
Cribbs 90 yd return was the ONLY bright spot today for the Browns.

I guess they've never heard of Roethlisberger, Leftwich, Pennington, McCareins......

BTW, noticed Todd France had a couple of field goals and 2 XPs too. 04-bow
From The Record Courier:

In Boston, Melody Pees, the wife of former Kent State head coach and current New England Patriots linebackers coach Dean Pees, celebrated the news of Cribbs’ first career touchdown.

How is she doing? Was she not battling cancer?
Oh everyone knows Mr. Cribbs was running towards the guy with the nacho hat in the end zone. That's what weed does to ya 03-wink
Have not heard an update, HK. Hopefully, she's on the road to recovery.

Ummm. Randy Moss maybe?
I'm glad the Browns only have two games on Fox. My wife and I cannot stand their coverage. They blatantly put down the MAC a couple of times and called the Browns stadium Paul Brown Stadium.. I knew we would get bottom barrel announcers, but that was rediculous.
Granted, the announcers weren't their "A Team", but they were really awful. After Cribbs' TD, the one said, "I was looking at their (Kent's) schedule, and who did they play? Akron? Bowling Green? To go from playing there to..etc, etc, etc." C'mon, they showed their lack of knowledge, by being unaware of the LEGION of MAC players, both over the years and currently, who have not only played in the NFL but starred in it!! Plus, the one (correctly) pointed out that the last Browns' title was in 1964, but then said that Chuck Noll (highly successful Steelers head coach) played linebacker on that team!! That is flat-out incorrect.

Or KSU's Jack Lambert, Antonio Gates, WMU's John Offerdahl, Nutten, Smeenge or UT's Taylor.
The bottom line is, those announcers just weren't very good at their job. I could elaborate, but this is a college sports site. Suffice it to say that their knowledge was really lacking, considering they were on a nation network doing an NFL game!
For some reason I can't get in and edit my post again.

I wanted to because I forgot to add Jason Babin.
