Quote: The Bulls and WCKG-FM have agreed to a four-year deal for the Bulls radio broadcast rights beginning with the 2006-07 season.

All 82 regular season games, all playoff games and three pre-season games will be aired on WCKG (105.9), which is owned by Infinity Broadcasting.

Wow that surprises me, I thought they would be on a bigger station.

Oh well, good news for the Huskies though!
Wow, you must have some arrogant or incompetent prix running AM1000. They've lost all their major teams.

Oh wait, Reinsdorff owns both the Sox and Bulls. I guess someone at ESPN crossed the most arrogant prick of them all......
I read something recently where ESPN claims to have lost millions in their Bulls/Sox deals.

Which goes with the article I read some time back that ESPN payed a high price for the Bulls and Sox
what exactly will be they be broadcasting now?

Cant argue with Reinsdorf in the baseball realm, he and Kenny pushed all the right buttons to bring the pennant to Chicago.

$50 million was the number I heard.
This will settle the NIU/WSCR issue for next year. WCKG is the "shadow" station that the Huskies were supposed to move to if WSCR could carry a specific game. That can still happen.

As for WMVP - they still have UIC Flames Basketball.
