is it me or do these new linebackers look like keepers.....i stayed away from all the player replacement talk and just settled on the "defense sucks" platform but with these guys, the pursuit looks better, the attack looks like it should and we are tackling more....(or am i drinking too much again....the "Stro's had a 3:00 pm start time, the white sox after that and ESPN is carrying NIU...I'm definitley not gunna be sober long)

This is a completely different NIU team. This is the one that beat up on Tennessee Tech a few weeks ago. NIU beating Miami this bad after Miami blasted Cincinnati shows just how bad the Bearcats are this year.
Looks like NIU has righted the ship. See you guys in Toledo in November for the Division Title! If we both get past CMU that is.

The D is also making plays. Hansbros have made a lot of tackles. 28-7 looking good.

Watching from san Diego. Nice crowd. Had alum from Cady Shack (73) talking about the new athlethic facility. The defense looks for real. A four punch. O line, defense, the backs, QB and wide receivers. Looking good. Let's see if Joe makes adjustments or Miami does at half. Punch them in the mouth.

1. Wolfe looks good but I think the shoulder is still bothering him. AJ looks great, too. How about Hurd bowling people over after the catch?
2. Horvath apparently needed about 7.5 minutes to wake up. Actually, I thik both teams were just tight at first. The blown coverage on Hurd seemed to wake Horvath up.
3. The D is getting great pass coverage. They are getting enough pressure on the QB to force some "throw aways."
4. All of Nendick's KO's have reached the end zone except one. What happened on that last one???

wife has me with the sound real low......what is the wind tonight and could that be why we see a good Nednick and then a weak one later....i got the impression that the wind was behind him in the first quarter and that is how he awas kicking long as well as maybe a factor in Horvaths pass sailing on the pick?
