Thanks REDDOG all ASU fans wish the same; it was a great game and a dog fight all the way. We lost it in the final 4 minutes; we had to use CUSA officials and we had some questionable calls, but all that matters is the final score. We LOVE to play Memphis!

I think our administration is living in a fantasy world with the belief that the casual fans in this area will come out in large numbers to see teams they've never heard of before, like Florida Atlantic.

Our administration also refuses to schedule name teams in Murfreesboro. It's not that lucrative deals have not been offered to the administration to bring in name teams because there have been, it's just that our athletic department refuses to accept those deals.

Oh well, 13,348 average home attendance ranks dead last in all of 1-A and is the ONLY school in 1-A under 15,000 right now! All I have to say is thank you Coach McCollum! Thank you Athletic Director Donnelly! And thank you President McPhee for driving Middle Tennessee football back to Division 1-AA!!!</span></span></span>

BRP -- I am sorry to hear that; I know from your many posts that you are a GREAT fan of MTSU and SBC football. Maybe things will change, for the better, in the near future. You guys have so much potential sitting just outside Nashville.

Great crowd, sucks about the final score it really seemed you guys would pull it off. This game reminded me of our game with LaTech in that the "seperation" may not be as great as some would like to think :rolleyes:

Agreed; the separation thing is a mythical factor that allows some to feel superior to others. It is a self-image and insecurity thing IMHO. The MWC, MAC, CUSA, WAC, and SBC are all on the outside looking in; how can one of these 'left-out' conferences possibly claim to be better than the others. As one MAC poster put -- these conferences need to stop trying to claim the 'cream of the crap' title.

Those are some great pics of your crowd and stadium. Was it recently renovated with that endzone facility?

Does your press box have suites too? From the pic, the press box looks a little disproportionate to the stands, but it might just be the angle of the pic.
