I am a big supporter of UCF football and I try to support the coaching too. But, this is embarrassing.

Marshall beat us, yea UCF had its opportunities to win...but we didn't. For our head coach to "whine" publicly about substitution violations...it's not what we need right now. I don't think Coach K is the right head coach for future UCF football. After how unprepared our team has looked at times, lack of halftime adjustments, poor play calling, and the things he's said in public. It's enough.
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

However, that said. I tend to think that MAC officials generally stink. I have never seen more official's conferences than I have with MAC officials trying to figure out the rules.
Still not as bad as Big Ten officials. I recall public apologies from the Big Ten commish over recent years regarding flubbed calls.

I'm not a big fan of coaches/players going back and criticizing calls, simply because it'll all even out at the end (if Team X gets a bad call against them one week, they'll probably get one for them another week). Besides, officiating a game is probably tougher than it looks.

But if something perceived as "illegal" is consistent and occurring throughout a game and a coach - such as UCF's - wants to submit a complaint thereafter, I don't see much wrong with it. Although I think such matters should be done a little more privately between the coaches, the officials, and the MAC office, and not splashed across sports pages.
What Marshall does is within the rules. Last year, WMU broke the huddle with 11 on a 3rd and 1, but when they broke, 3 WRs ran straight to the sideline and 3 TEs ran on. This was an obvious intention to deceive, but it is within the rules.

Kruzcek, quit whining and take the beating like a man. Nothin' worse than a man bragging about how good he is or is gonna be, then not living up and blaming the officials. Respect, declining.....
I gotta agree with HuskieDan...seems like Kruzcek is doing an awful lot of complaining.
I saw the game in its entirety...UCF has chances to win this game and could have done so easily.
Bottom line is they didn't get it done.

to come back a few days later and say all this?

But Fryzel, quit talking smack about juking a DB on a pass that wasn't completed. And get a new freakin' haircut - that was just about stupid lookin'!
Finally, someone brought up that God awful haircut. What is that guy thinking? For a second, I thought Vanilla Ice was making a comeback as a receiver for the Knights. Someone needs to pull that guy aside and fix his doo before they appear on TV again.
What Coach K is really saying is that he got out-coached.
Agreed with most everything posted. We should learn from it and use it. I mean, we could send out our five wide set to the huddle and run our TE's in after we break.

Damn, I hate seeing us stick our foot up our arse time after time after time after time.........

We really are a good team and nice people......someday maybe we'll show it.

Clay

My question would be, and this is not only directed at UCF people, why the NEED to pump your chest? Why do people feel they need to talk about how great they are before proving anything? Of course on a message board that's the fun, but why do you feel you have to keep telling people how great you are? Won't people recognize that, in most cases, once you've SHOWN them? Or does everyone have a Christ complex - the path to MAC football heaven lies in your FAITH in the Golden Knights and Ryan Schneider's right arm (arm, not his right hand.... )
I hope you didn't think I was chest thumping on that post. I was agreeing.

And as for an answer to your question: I have no idea.....I've always wanted our fans and players to at least act like we've been there before and for players to act like they've made a good play before.

I don't expect us to play like Penn State or Nebraska, but I do expect us to act like them.

Just my opinion

HuskieDan here's a quote from your last post:

"Or does everyone have a Christ complex - the path to MAC football heaven lies in your FAITH in the Golden Knights and Ryan Schneider's right arm (arm, not his right hand...."

Please correct me if I am wrong, but are you saying that the teachings of Jesus Christ and his life here on this earth were of no more value and are comparable to that of a 21st century college quarterback masterbating himself?

Is that what a Christ complex is? I'll tell you this board is just way to open to profanity and obscene postings such as the one you just made. Being on this board is like being on a porn site--absolutely anything goes in spite of what Dodo or GTS or CMichFan may say. You guys just cross a line of moral decay that is far beyond anything that I am able to tolerate on a public sports forum. You need to tone it down sir. I want to hear from the other posters on this board. Is his post acceptable or not? If you all believe it is, then I am the odd man out and I will leave. If it is not acceptable then please delete it and continue to delete other such post that are as profane and obscene as his was. Don't wimp out on me! I want to hear from everyone else on this board. Is his post acceptable or not???? If it is, then I am leaving and you all can just be glad that I am gone.
In five-plus years of posting on MAC-related websites, I have never, ever seen a better set-up line for CE.

Thanks, Craig.
They got beat. The UCF coach has shown little or no class so far. Maybe he feels the need to blame the loss on the officials so people will forget his claim that he was more worried about OOC games than MAC games.
I think he should have quietly filed his protest and waited to see what the league was going to do about it. Now he has more negative publicity and a long list of MAC opponents left to play.

It isn't profane - it is funny if you have proper reading comprehension. Your misunderstanding (look up what a Christ Complex is) is not grounds for post removal, IMHO

Lighten up!

Clay

Naw, YOU were fine Clay. It is the incessant chest-thumping of people, not unlike some of your players like Fryzel and his comments about how bad he juked a guy on an incomplete pass - excuse me, Jimmy, an incomplete pass has absolutely NO consequence on this discussion, an neither does your juking of him, but that same DB planting your ass into the turf a couple times sure made you woozy, didn't it! - that bug me. It's the need for attention without earning it that drives me nuts.
jeezus Kiiiir-IST...where do you start? I don't know guys- do THEY even belong? Let them be the cast-aways they were.

Jimmy about your quote-

"We can still run the table, no doubt," Fryzell said. "But now we have to rely on someone else for help and that's what hurts."

-shut your pie-hole ,catch the ball and win a game.

Kupcake- well like I said -bring a case of tissue to your next MAC game and you should think about maybe some Stayfree maxis- come on "the crown" ? LMFAO
