...although I'm not a big boxing fan:

Tyson couldn't beat a floor rug.

Lewis is lucky that he never faced Tyson in his prime. That said, I'm glad that he beat the snot out of that thug.
"Young" Mike Tyson was one of the greatest heavy-weights of all time. His ability to bust people up in the middle with uppercuts was scarey. Switching trainers and managers completely screwed up his career and his life.

He went from having the best person he could possibly have had taking care of his life and career to possibly the worst. That doesn't excuse the way he is, but it does explain a lot.
Man please both of them pimped him. All those scum boxing promoters are the same. Mike was screwed up from the get go.

I've been a boxing fan since I was very young, yet, other than both being associated with Tyson, I've never seen a relationship.
I wasn't talking about Cus. Cus passed away before Tyson's first heavyweight championship. You agreed with OVERHERD's statement about SWITCHING screwed him up and since he didn't switch from Cus I didn't think you were talking about him. In my first post I shouldn't have said promoters that was a mistake, because you all didn't mention anything about them. It was trainers and managers. These are the guys I'm talking about: Bill Cayton & Jim Jacobs; Rory Holloway & John Horne; Shelly Finkel. And whoever else was in his camp. Everyone just saw dollars signs on that mildly retarded man.

Tyson was always a head case and he screwed himself up.

I was referring to Cus. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I agree, they all used him badly.
