I know that Essency will monitor this for us in his very nice web site, but here are the early returns for home MAC games:
Liberty at UCF: 20.4K maybe a tad smaller crowd than might be expected for the opener, but UCF finally gets on the board with a win.
Kent at NIU: 16.3K not too shabby considering that Kent is not much of a draw (although they have a dangerous team this year)
Buffalo at OU: 12.5K losing often is beginning to take its toll on OU's attendance
Ill St at EMU: a surprisingly strong (for EMU) crowd of 15.2K against IAA competition
Miami vs. Akron: 17.3K a somewhat disappointing crowd considering how hard Akron publicized this one with their "RedHawk Down" theme.
V-Tech at WMU: 27K plus(I forget to note the exact attendance but it's already been posted here). This is surprising, as I expect WMU to have 30K plus, but they gave V-Tech a heck of a fight the first half before some big plays and mistakes caught up with them.
