Pees was furious at officials after the game because of an illegal block he thought was missed during a 90-yard punt return by NIU's Dan Shelton in the second quarter. "It's (the officials') hobby, it's our profession, it's the kids' profession, it's not (the officials') game," Pees told the Akron Beacon-Journal. "It's not a joke."

Does Kent have a janitorial program also? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />

If the Huskies automatic kicker doesn't miss two FG's it's a 13 point win. If Nashville Dyer wrapped up Dan Sheldon on that play, he doesn't go 90 yards.

Ask Dean Pees if he read the new rule this year that calls for a player to be automatically ejected if he smears the punt returner before the ball gets there? Dyer did exactly that later and laid out Sheldon - could've seriously hurt him, which is why that rule was adjusted - but was not ejected. After the game, on the radio broadcast, Novak was also mad, saying that he was on the rules committee in the offseason and that he knows EXACTLY how that rule should have been called. That rule is pretty specific and isn't supposed to be up to official's judgement.
