Hot rumor on Bronco board suggesting that the Cavaliers will be visiting WMU in 2003 (I imagine a couple return dates to UVa will follow later in the decade). Our Athletic Dept has been working hard to get a "name" team to visit Waldo Stadium in 2003 to help celebrate the University's 100th birthday.

Could be another coup for the Broncoheads.......Motown, could you list the "big name" OOC opponents you already have inked to come to Kazoo in the next decade.......I was thinking you already have a couple of good ones lined up.
Actually, the only BCS team that is officially confirmed coming to Kalamazoo is Virginia Tech this year. Hopefully the Virginia scenario eventually becomes more than just a rumor. (What is our school's obsession with that state anyway?)

A few months ago, there was another discussion on the Bronco board that we landed a 2-for-1 deal with Missouri to occur during the 2005-2010 timeframe. But, again, nothing confirmed beyond message board heresay.
With the new IA rules (must host 5 IA home games a year), Miami is in good shape except for the 2004 season......we need one more home game. I would love to see a 2 for 1 with a big-name opponent, but would be just as happy with a 1 for 1 with a good MWC or WAC school. We already have Iowa at home this year, Northwestern in 2006 and Kansas State in 2008, so we've got a gap in 2004 and/or 2005, and one more appealing home opponent would really help our attendance averages.
It's official.
