Let's review

Nebraska loses 40-7 to a team that barely beat UCF, and they drop only 12 spots, while Marshall lost to a top 5, maybe a top 2 team, by 47-21 and they drop out of the poll?

At least Mich St and Colorado dropped out too, so it's not the travesty I thought it was, but how does Mich still hang?

College football is so close to parity...don't be fooled, that's why the BCS schools are working hard to stave off the competition.
MSU lost to an unranked team badly, so that explains that. Colorado is now 1-2 and got absolutely crushed by USC. Michigan lost to a ranked ND team, and it was close and on the road. I don't see a problem here. I do think BGSU should have a couple votes in each poll, FWIW.

Gotta agree about the BUGS, they should be knocking at the door to the Top 25 at this point.
To me, Notre Dame is the biggest joke of all. If they win next week, I'm sure you'll see them with at least 1/2 the first place votes.

Let's see - we KILLED a team which was 2-0, thoroughly beat the defending Big Ten champs and had 22 votes in the top 25, score 40+ points for the fourth game in a row, and stay undefeated...and we get TWO FRIGGIN VOTES IN THE COACHES POLL AND NONE IN THE AP POLL???

We got lost this week because a.) we didn't play early so the score was one of dozens instead of one of a handful and b.) it was in BG and not on TV???

WTF? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

At least we kept our BCS winning streak alive. I believe it is now 4-in-a-row vs. the BC$.

If anyone knows who votes for the AP, let us know so we MAC fans can pester them.

It may not be a nationally recognized poll, but this poll may interest you.

I was SHOCKED to see the polls as well. All I can figure is that (a) the game ended after 9 p.m. and (b) sportswriters had other bigger upsets to capture their interest.

I would expect the Falcons to more votes this weekend even if they had the weekend off.

Maybe BGSU needs to send mail to voters. Or, heck, maybe *we* need to do that.
