Hello everyone, I just wanted to use this post to get a feel for how many of you would be interested in helping out an effort. I have spoke a little bit with some other guys on this board and we have decided to possibly try to get some guys around to throw in some money to get some pizzas around and watch a practice. At Arnie's, Ranger mentioned having his sister bake a bunch of cookies for the players, but he said that she didn't appreciate the thought of making 500 cookies. We have thought about pizza as an alternative. We are thinking about trying to order enough (and it would be a lot, my guess is AT THE LEAST 40, 50, or so pizzas). Of course, all of this would have to be cleared through the coaches / athletic department, but I am preliminarily posting this to see if we have enough interest. I will not be attending the Minnesota game, so I would be willing to throw in more money to cover some of what I would have spent in Minnesota anyway.

Our thinking is sort of aimed at showing the guys that they actually do have fans out there, plus it may give us a chance to check out a practice. Like I said though, we don't even know if the athletic department would go for it.

I got your PM. Thanks for the offer, but my buddy is coming to town and we are just going to watch the game here. With that said, I will be able to give $50.

BTW, if anyone does want to give anything, any amount of money is good.

I will be able to give a few bucks, but money is tight right now for me. I will definitely be in attendance too.
