A good guy? Every time I've seen him in press conferences he's been a real jerk.

The last time I saw him was after a loss in Toledo. He was in a real mood when he strode in and plopped down in front of the lights. Since nobody asked a question in the first few seconds, he got huffy and started to get up and leave saying something like, "well if nobody has anything for me..." When someone in the room spoke up, Dakich squinted out and apparently didn't recognize the guy so in a very accusing tone told the guy that this was for journalists only and asked if he was indeed a journalist.
The reply: "I'm the sports editor for The Blade."
Dakich shut up, sat down and answered his question.

Priceless.
