The guy that sponsors my bowling team is/was a big booser of Kent athletics. His commercials ran during football and basketball games. Seffner had signed him up a few years ago.

To date, no one from KSU has bothered to follow up with him and asked if he'd like to renew this fall.

Finding sponsors for KSU sports is difficult enough...I would think they'd really want to "take care" of the sponsors they already have.
While the firing of Sefner was a good thing, they waited to long to do it and the effects will be seen this year. As of now, I'm not sure that there is a marketing director. Perhaps they are doing a national search. However, it may have been better to do right after b-ball season or the end of school rather than July. I had wondered what may have been going on. I think that they are trying to ride the b-ball hype coattails for this year and maybe the serious push will be next year...

I don't know what size business you are talking about, but maybe KSU has bigger fish on the line?

The guy ran multiple commercials during broadcasts...he isn't a guy that simply bought a 1" x 1" ad square in the back of a media guide.

What the hell...its Mailboxes Etc.
