The Athens Messenger reports the following:
"Rumor has it, Bobcats coach Brian Knorr is experimenting with a new trick play. The play, which is somewhat difficult to describe, involves the running back under center taking the snap and running backwards. The other running back runs downfield without the ball. Then, rather than running with the ball, the running back who takes the snap, pulls the ball back over his head and releases the ball forward through the air towards the running back waiting downfield. With any luck, the running back down field catches the ball and gains positive yardage."
Must Knorr resort to trickery, I ask you? This play seems awfully unfair.
