Northern Illinois Huskies

1. Josh Haldi, QB, sr. -- An effective game manager who threw 25 TD passes and only nine INTs, Haldi helped NIU lead the MAC in red zone offense last season. Looking to become the first Huskies passer ever to throw for 2,000 or more yards in three straight seasons.

2. Bryan Atkinson, LB, sr. -- A quick, instinctive player, Atkinson moves inside after recording a team-high 108 tackles last season as an outside linebacker.

3. Dan Sheldon, WR, sr. -- Caught 40 passes last year, including big receptions in wins over Maryland and Alabama, before missing the last six games of the season with a dislocated elbow. Also an excellent return man.

4. Lionel Hickenbottom, S, sr. -- A 6-0½, 200-pound free safety who is the most athletic defensive back on the team and should be an impact player.

5. A.J. Harris, RB, jr. -- The pressure is on Harris to replace Michael Turner, NIU's all-time leading rusher. Harris goes 6-0, 220 and had a great spring game with 155 yards on only six carries, including a 70-yard touchdown on the game's first play.

It's an Insider article so I wasn't sure if you guys would be able to read it, I just posted what they say about our Huskies....
I hope that he does not mean for next year. We want AJ as a SR.
I can't believe he did not list Ver Streate. Everyone else in the world, besides Mel, calls Jake our best pro prospect.
Thanks, Neuqua.
