Let's assume that Ohio runs the rest of their season out with only one more loss - say to CFU (see, I don't always refer to them as FUC) That would give them only one loss in the MAC and, since they would have beaten Miami, then Miami would have two losses. Let's assume Marshall's only loss is to Ohio. Marshall would only have one loss but that one loss would be to Ohio so Ohio wins the tiebreaker. Ohio finishes at 7-5 with a loss to a I-AA team.
Looking at the West, NIU beats BG at home but drops one more game somewhere along the line. BG wins all their other games and finishes the season at 11-1. Toledo has 2 losses so they're out. BG has one loss but loses the tiebreaker to NIU so they're out. NIU finishes the season at 8-4 with a loss to a I-AA team.
The MACC is now an Ohio/NIU matchup played in Athens with all the hype and excitement that would generate nationally. (Please note the heavy sarcastic tone). The MCB will be obligated to take the winner. My guess is the GMAC passes on either team and the MAC ends up with only one bowl.
