After taking a one week breather, my weekly MAC column is up and running at Against The Line Sports:

Yikes! I will save you all the trouble of pointing out my error of identifying Josh Cribbs as Ohio's QB...I know better...it was late...it is being corrected.

:withstupid:
03-banghead
Can you start writing "Heisman candidate" Josh Harris? I know you may not believe it, but when it's in print, people do start to believe it. Call it my grass roots effort, seeding the ground for next season.
Plus we've seen Harris make cut on 2 (very long) lists.
And while you're at it, be sure to place "BCS Conference team coaching candidate" in front of Urban Meyer's name 03-lol 03-banghead
"...the coach of the not-quite-bcs-level BG Falcons."
Nice job as usual, Dave. What happened to CMU? Simply put, the road has been unkind. We played a poor first half against the Zips and a bad fourth quarter -- two crucial errors 03-banghead -- cost us the Indiana game. Against BC and NIU, our offense simply failed to show up and our defense was too soft early in both games. If we played on the road like we do at home, we'd be at least 4-4 right now, with no blowout losses.

Reasons CMU will beat EMU: our secondary has improved, EMU won't stop our RBs, and EMU is just too darn young in most areas.

Reasons I'm concerned: see the above about CMU on the road and EMU has had an extra week to prepare. Also, after each close loss, we've followed with a bad loss the following week.

Overall: I expect a 10-14 point CMU win, if our team doesn't leave its brains on the bus again...
CMichFan, don't forget the rule that any team (here, EMU) which gives up 55 points to OHIO FOOTBALL and loses to same stinks. Can CMU possibly lose to stink? Is CMU sub-stink?
Well, we've certainly stunk up the road... :o However, I expect CMU to score at least in the 30s at EMU.
