According to this story, the Big Ten and Motor City Bowl signed a deal for four years to send the No. 7 team to Detroit.

I thought a deal was in place already, although I didn't think the Big Ten was locked down four years.

Yes, my recollection of the original announcement was that it was multi-year........well, maybe it was a verbal deal until they had the official "ratification ceremony".

Now we need Purdue to win 2 more games!!
