Personally I believe Western PA is a gold mine for recruits, although I tend to think of LB and QB from that area.
W PA, loves and knows football...with only 3 Div IA schools in that state, I'd hope that MAC teams would scout and recruit that area harder.

We got a guy that is redshirting this year from the area. His name is Perry Ivery and he has the ability to be a good one.

KSU has had some success from over there, too. There are quite a few students at KSU from the WPa area. It's a nice distance from home, but not too far.

Western PA has some of the best high school football in the nation...The Flash ir correct...Kent has gotten some very good players from that area.
