My Falcon feathers are off to NIU for their impressive win yesterday. That Turner is something else and so is that Sheldon...man those guys are fast.
I really though BG was gonna pull it out in the end but I give all the credit to the Huskies...you guys played an awesome game on defense. I haven't seen BG's offense look that bewildered in a long time.
I thought NIU's D line really broke up our blocking patterns and when BG fell behind we had to throwthe ball.
I highly doubt NIU is gonna lose their last two games so I don't see much hope for BG and the West title at this point. I just want BG to finish strong these last three games and hopefully we'll still get a bowl bid...of course that is what Miami (1998, 10-1) and Toledo (2000, 10-1) said.
Again, congrats and best of luck your last two games...
NIU has really come a long way under Novak and deserves the success.
