Just wondering if the Detroit papers have had any "blurbs" like the Orlando Sentinel about the MCB pulling a "fast" one in terms of either signing up the Big 12 at the last moment (for Texas A&M or Oklahoma State?), or better yet, possibly pulling some type of bowl "switcheroo" with the Sun Bowl to retain a B10 team (regrettably Minnesota).
All in all I think Minnesota would still be a little better for the MCB than a B12 team, but the real benefactor of that kind of switch is the Sun Bowl, which would likely sell out a game with A&M or Oklahoma State in it.
I suspect that the MCB folks are rooting real hard for UT today, but if UT wins then they'll perhaps be back on the "Marshall bandwagon" for the MACC so they can keep their options open between BG, NIU & UT.
ESPN's Gameday crew just brought up Clemson, Ga Tech or Wake as possible MCB opponents due to the Big Ten most likely having 2 BCS teams. If NIU were to get to H-ton and win, two of the rumoured opponents have been rematches.....yuck.

Nothing much, eCK. The Detroit media isn't exactly dependable for news-breaking stories about the MAC. It seems like stories get passed around message boards (via Nick, etc) days before the News/Free Press decides to expend ink on the story. But I snoop around both papers on a daily basis, and I'll pass along something if I come across anything.

Actually, Urban Meyer just confirmed my thinking of him - cocky, arrogant son of a biscuit that can outthink himself if you give him a chance....that fake punt call up 10 from your own 45 is about as boneheaded as you can get.
My only problem is that I didn't expect BG to win going in, so when they actually were up 10 I started getting excited. I placed too much faith in Urban Meyer in an important game.....and his genious....

Ask Mako if this qualifies as a BG choke - up 10, on the road, outscored 28 (at least) in the second half.
