Second place in the MAC east isn't that bad for our first year. We should be the favorite next year. We lost 4 games by a total of 14 points.

UCF beats Tulane in BB last night 66-61 and beating Maine tonight.

Go Knights!

WHAT!!!, you should be the favorite next year, yea right. Favorite to come in second again.
Just more of the delusions coming out of drug town. You guys did nothing you stated on this board this year. The mid western conference was a little tougher then you thought.
MARSHALL will roll you like we do all conference teams. Hopefully you guys can get 20K there for the game next year.
We will beat you next year. Just deal with it. We will be even better next year. You couldn't beat us right now if we played, IMO.

We have big crowds for big games. If the residents consider this a big game we should have a good crowd.

We had 50K against Va Tech
We had 40K against Purdue
We had 40k against Idaho
We had 39K against Eastern Ill(I think it was them)

Have you had these numbers?
How can I deal with something that has not and will not happen.
You need help my friend, if you live your life in a fantasy world, they have pills for such things.
Also, how do you know UCF will win, because you said so, HA HA. Just like all of the other smack you guys talked this year.
Let Me tell you something, you are already behind the Herd in that we won the League our first, and second, and third and fourth years. Nice second place, shine it up, stick it in the trophy case and deal with the fact that you guys are LOSERS.
You sound like the Cubs, wait till next year.
Face the facts, this isn't smack talk. UCF returns almost the whole team, and you guys lose Leftwich. UCF plays Marshall and Miami at home. How could we not be the favorite to win the east?

I guess I can root for you guys in 1 game(The GMAC bowl).

Below will be the scene from the UCF/Marshall game next year.....

You sound like the rest of the haters through the years. Wait until next year, you have to replace; Payton, or Donnan, or Kresser, or Pennington, now Leftwich.
Don't you understand, we play for championships. We always reload at the skill positions.
Haters like you have been fooling themselfs for years so don't feel bad when you, like all the rest of our victims with delusions of granduer are left on the scrap heap of the latest Marshall Victims.
UCF, please do somthing before you run your hole.
Herdon my dear friend, here I find you dissing a fellow Knight fan. You should be happy your team is in the MACC and in a bowl game. Yet you are an embittered man. Perhaps a perscription of zoloft would help?

GO KNIGHTS!!!!
Do you have any idea how many times we've heard..."You guys are losing your QB" The nay-sayers have been sending that message to us for quite awhile now. The latest was when Pennington left for the Jets. It doesn't matter. Leftwich did just fine. Just like Hill (Or who ever is in there) will do next year.

You guys said you were going to beat us this year and you didn't. Now you're not only saying wait until next year...you are saying you would beat us if we played now. LOL!!!!! You had your chance...you left with a Loss.

Hey, if we play leap year on the third Tuesday of the 5th month, at 5:05 pm EST SHARP.....we'll kick your butts!! 03-lol 03-lol 03-lol

We'll see how things pan out next year.

Maybe by then your coach will put more emphasis on Conference games and your AD will figure out just where the hell he is.

PS. Do you guys have a crown on your field?? :crying: :crying:
Skipuno, bitter is a taste I know not, But winning,ah winning, that is a feeling I am very fimiliar with. Oh, thats right, wait until next year.
Cool, I was worried about you herdon. but it sounds like you have had your prozac, and are feeling better now. :D

GO KNIGHTS!!!!!
I don't think Miami is ready to concede to the Knights next year quite yet, either, fellas. And I wouldn't want you to think that your victory over us this year was all the meaningful coming after the debacle in H-Ton. Our season was over when Hill hit the endzone, and it got even worse after that (post-game). I never expected us to beat a good UCF team after all that, plus the game was meaningless (unless you're playing for 2nd).

Central Florida will be tough next year no doubt, but you'll pardon all of us if we ask you to play us again instead of capitulating in advance.

Not saying Marshall or Miami will be pushovers, but I was just saying that we will be the favorite b/c of our whole team returning and the tough games at home instead of on the road.

This is my guess of the MAC east next year
1) UCF
2) Miami
3) Marshall

Akron has a pretty good QB. I wouldn't be suprised to see them somewhere in the top 3 next year.

I think we have proven that we belong in the MAC. 04-cheers
ECK, as a miami fan you want them to win the MAC every year. I want UCF to win every year. But for some reason herd fans expect that we should just give in and concide it to Marshall. of course they still have to beat Toledo. Anyway you want to see real misery go to the Gator board. :D

GO KNIGHTS!!!!!!!!
I thinl UCF will be the preseason favorite to win EAST 2003. But in reality, it will be a 3 team dogfight with a 4th team spoiler(Ohio) ruining it for somebody. Just my opinion.
I said all along that UCF needed this first year in MAC play as to "get their feet wet" in real conference play.
Now, with the returning players, the Knights are poised to make a run for the MAC EAST CROWN. But so is MIAMI and MARSHALL.
And mark my words, Ohio will be one tough team next year. They might knock somebody out of the east top 3. The Bobcats have ex-Miami QB Ryan Hawk and he should be starting 2003. They already have the speedy WRs and RBs, all OU was missing 2002 was a QB to throw the ball. When their season started to suck, the cats switched back to their option oriented Offense. Just a little information for ya.
Nobody better not look past Ohio next year.
Akron will be another team that might put up a tough BallSt like record(6-6) if they can stop anybody.(they did beat MU)
Kent will have a seasoned veteran QB in Cribbs and some seasoned WRs for him to throw to. Buffalo still the easy win.
It should be wild crazy finish in the EAST 2003 with Toledo once again winning the WEST 2003 in dominating fashion. I think BG is done. Especially if their coach is gone. NIU will be a second place finisher with CMU/WMU close behind. BG finishes in middle of WEST. BSU then EMU.
I see only Toledo and NIU with winning records in the WEST 2003. CMU/WMU at 6-6.
I see four teams with winning records in the EAST. In fact, I will go on to say that the EAST winner might just sport a record of 8-4 tied with 2nd place and then #3/#4 tied with 7-5 records.
The EAST will be way too top heavy. Every team will be knocking off each other.
Now if any team can come out of the EAST undefeated 2003, they have my utmost respect as Champion. But the reality is the winner will have 2 MAC losses.

Good analysis, HERD-it-wuz-DJ. My thoughts are similar in some ways.

In the East, I think that Miami should be favored. They were the best team in the East this season, and look to be even better next season. I think your predictions regarding UCF are dead on. They will be a force to be reckoned with next season, but may still come up a little short. I think Marshall will have its worst finish ever, despite winning some tough games. While you can never count them out, a third or fourth place finish shouldn't surprise anyone. Then again, neither should a first place finish. And OU will definitely be the wildcard in all of this. Bobkitty fans might have a hard time swallowing this, but Knorr actually has them headed in the right direction.

In the West, I wish I were as confident as you are about the Rockets running away with the title. I think UT will be a great team. We lose some players, but there are great replacements waiting in the wings. QB and RB are definitely covered. Our LB corp is #1 in the conference, and they graduate this year. We have able replacements, but Gardner and Ward are going to be missed. However, I still think we'll be too much for most teams to handle. Way too much. The one exception being NIU. They, like us, are built for the long haul, and are a very young team. They will have a say in who wins the West next season. BG shot it's load and I don't see Meyer returning next season. WMU will be closer to their past glory, but will still be a year or two away.
Senior WR Gabriel predicts UCF will win the MAC next year. Look at the last paragraph.

They also beat the west division champion, at home, by 2 touchdowns.

Yeah, they're pretty good.

Two grown men dry-humping on the field? That's what we have to expect in Orlando?!

And people say WE have trouble with crowd control!
KNIGHTTIME,

I'm not sure where you get off throwing all this bravado around. I guess you don't realize what a total ASS you are making of yourself. Come back down to Earth, please. Yes, it was nice to see us finish strong, but 3 of those 4 wins were against teams with losing records. And had Miami beat Marshall I have no doubt they would have approached our game with them just a little bit differently.

We proved nothing this year, other than that we can compete in this league, which everyone already knew. We won NOTHING. We didn't reach the major goals set out by the team before the season, we failed to earn ourselves and the MAC any respect in our OOC games, and our attendence was embarrassing. Once again, we showed everyone that we can beat the lesser teams, but can't win the big ones. Yet here you are blabbing on how we're going to win the MAC next year and beat Marshall. What makes you think things are going to be any different next year? Maybe you should hold off talking big until we have something to back it up with.

Herdon says "we always reload at the skill positions". Funny saying that while recruiting these gentleman you cheated. UCF had the #1 recruiting class in the conference last season (not cheating) and will most likely do so this year. Whether you like it or not, Orlando is a much more desirable place to live than in a backwoods homer town like Huntington. Sunny Florida by Disney or backwoods in West Virginia? Better athletes will continue to come to UCF and your high and mighty attitude will change when we are consistantly beating your A$$. Stan Hill will not come here to O-town and beat the Golden Knights, I'm not a gambling man but I would be on that.
