They went with NIU's Michael Turner......maybe partly due to Lefty's injury.

Consider that he did set a MAC single season rushing total record despite barely playing in 1 game (Wake) and getting injured and sitting out 3 quarters in another (WMU).

I'm not foolish enough to think the Turner will win the MAC's official POY award, though.

And if Lefty was cranky about the all-MAC selections, I suspect he'll be in even a worse mood today (although I'm not sure many folks care about what CFN has to say).

I think they have a pretty good site.

A lot of people care what they have to say (get a lot of visitors). I've seen their all-conference teams and other awards cited in media guides and draft profiles just like other media outlets. They are definitely considered a respectible news source.

Thanks for the info, Hashmander......I wasn't trying to "slam" CFN or anything......I honestly didn't know how widespread they are read.
