Just in case my response gets so buried in the Lefty thread and you eventually miss it.....


Regarding my quip about Leftwich looking to "Fight The Power" (Public Enemy reference) in terms slamming the MAC pollsters, you had found it offensive as you perceived it as a racial comment. In hindsight, I understand how it could be (mis)interpreted that way and I apologize if you - or any others - viewed it as such. However, my intention was purely the overall political/conspiracy angle that is the base for a lot of PE's raps.

I know this is merely an anonymous message board with made-up handles, and a lot of people do tell risque jokes and will probably continue to do so (myself included). But I still just wanted to make sure I wasn't being looked upon as something I am not.

Again, sorry for the confusion.

There really was no need to clarify or apologize MB. That was a silly accusation that was tossed your way. The simplest way to stifle debate is to throw that kind of (baseless) accusation at somebody.

Many times that's true. We've all seen people try to pigeonhole someone into a corner via baseless accusations. I definitely wouldn't clarify/apologize if it wasn't warranted. But, I think in this case I needed to provide a little clarification.

That's not to say I don't enjoy some occasional politically incorrect humor (Now, when is the Man Show and Howard Stern on the tube again?). :D
