Let's see if these two get kicked out for a year. I doubt it, if they let the basketball team get away with Felony theft last year. What a joke that one turned out to be. Maybe I do nto want to be in a BCS conference after all.

They will probably be pleaded down and they won't miss a game. That seems to be the usual way of doing things.

I don't know, I may be mistaken but I seem to remember that happening here a few times. What about the ID cards "scandal"? Wasn't that plead down? Did he get any punishment from the athletics dept? I realize it was "off season" but did it not happen with recruits? Seems to me THAT is not "off season", you are "an unofficial spokesperson" for the University to secure a recruit. We aren't perfect. On the other hand we are no Marshall, where there is rarely punishment and take in questionable recruits without a worry in the world and don't forget they are give answers for tests to athletes and/or $25 an hour(which by the way is STILL more than I make :( But just barely :) ).
Having fake IDs doesn't even begin to compare to some of the violent crimes that athletes have committed at other schools. I'm not saying we haven't had a few issues - Ivory Bryant comes to mind; McGhghy's issues weren't from being a choir boy.
