Congratulations, Falcons !
Victory comes just in time--serves as a tuneup for this Saturday's big game against Urbana.
We saw them earlier--if you can hold the Blue Knights under 50, you can win
by 50.
Go Big Girl State! Beat U.U.!

The Bonnies are a middling A-10 team in a year when the conference is very top heavy---Xavier and St. Joe.
They beat VT, beat Michigan (though who hasn't? ) then they lost 5 in a row to decent teams: BYU, Alabama, BC, St. Louis, and Davidson. They beat Canisius Wed. Our game with them is the start of a 3-game MAC run for them. Toledo visits next Saturday, then they have a New Year's Eve game in the afternoon in Athens.
They play smaller than a lot of teams--they run a 3-guard open post offense. We probably overmatch them inside if we can take advantage of that. They have real matchup problems with Gates--he's been posting and running the point. He's too strong for smaller defenders and way too quick for the guys his size. (He had a workout the other day with the Indy Colts--ran a 4.4 40.) Our guards will be the question mark--can we defend their 3 high scorers, all of whom are guards? As usual, it will come down to who can control the style of play.
Now THAT'S probably more than you wanted to know! :D
