According to the National Weather Service, a "major winter storm" may be hitting southern New England on Wednesday & Wednesday night, including Boston. This will probably affect what little fan travel from Boston College there was going to be to begin with Thursday.

As for Detroit, the forecast for Gameday calls for partly sunny, cold, with some flurries. High 32. Looks like a Green (or a shade of brown) Christmas this year.
No matter, Motown......no one is coming from Bean-town anyway.....not even their band! Oh, how the BCS "also rans" are overrated in every way.

Sure hope that UT and MAC fans still find a way to get 30K plus to the game, and better yet, treat us all to another MAC bowl win!

Go Rockettes!
Green Christmas' aren't that bad! :D

MB,
You should change your handle to "Weatherman" or something close. You were always right on for the Marshall games and the others I saw on TV.
The latest on the BC message board is that 400 BC fans are coming, so they'll "eat" a half mil worth of tickets. The sad part is that since they're a part of a BCS conference, they'll get something like a $1.5 mil payoff in addition to the MCB.

I just hope that they can funnel these un=used tickets back to some underprivileged kids or something so they can be used.......they're already paid for!

P.S BC may beat UC for the worst bowl support of any Div IA bowl.........oh, the high and mighty Big East, and their East Coast snob fans. I hope Toledo just throttles these guys! I usually try to avoid "smack talk", but I couldn't resist a post on their board (esp. after reading all the snide remarks about UT and the MAC) "gigging" them on their lack of support to the game, and essentially telling them that they'll likely win the prize for worst fan support of ANY division IA team this year. They can't even blame it on Detroit, as even far-away schols like Ol Miss reportedly had 5-6K there, as did BYU. And even though UL took 3K to Mobile this year, they had 15K there for the 98 MCB.
