Must admit; I never saw this one coming.
Rocket fans we needed this one in a big way. After the MCB debacle, and the loss at St Bonnies, this sure does feel good.
:)
A sweeeeet win for all the Rockets but coupled with the win over Detroit it has to be especially sweet for the Rocket players from Michigan - Nick Moore, Ricardo Thomas and Chauncey Shelton from Detroit, Jim Clement from St. Ignace and, oh yeah, a great game for Antoine Currie from Okemos.
The Rockets broke a 36 game winning streak for the Spartans against non-conference opponents iin the Breslin Center.
FINALLY!
A win over a ranked team!
Rockets get the OOC prize for the best win to date, easily.
And on the road, too! Most excellent!
Congratulations, Rockets.
Now, if someone around here could beat an A-10 team...

Well smack my azz and call me Helen!
Great job Rockets... by the way, do you need a good assistant coach? MU has one for hire (hint... he's not our assistant). :(
Uh, Helen, I'm never going to touch your azz...
Good job Rockets!
UM and MSU are both feeling the wrath of the MAC this year.
In Bronco news, WMU ended its OOC season with an 8-1 record by routing You Pooey ("IUPUI") by 24 points, our best OOC record in many years.
GO Broncos, beat the HERD!
CMU ended ooc 7-2, not too shabby, and steamrolled Spring Arbor (won by 50). Not too impressive, I know, but we DID do it without Chris Kaman.
MAC up! :D
That just makes me want to jump back and kiss myself, nice win guys.

Or your coach, Helen.
This makes the Motor City Bowl drop from my mind!
<span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:blue'>GO ROCKETS!</span></span>
Great win. (Don't have a heart attack Oddball).
Don't assume that I have a heart. :D
WAY TO GO ROCKETS!!!!! It is always nice when a "lowly" MAC team beats a ranked team.

Does this mean that Toledo is the best team from the State of Michigan??
:D
Outstanding job Toledo....I noticed you were playing them and was thinking it would be a good game.
While we're talking about basketball, I saw the Zips beat Hampton at home this weekend. Let me tell you, Hampton is TOUGH. They've got so much SIZE and they have three 6'11 FRESHMEN that can PLAY.
Good win for the Zips and Toledo.
Zips move to 5-4 I believe.
