Since I changed my first name to Grey. In all seriousness I couldn't give you an actual date of the official Gray/Green edict. Its a new year and I have new school colors. I couldn't be more delighted. I've only be a real bob fan for 5 years and it always steamed me how Marshall had the same school colors. How dare Huntington pose as Athens? On the new web site, OU has various shades of what I was thinking was green, but it contains several Gray variants.

Somebody in Athens has been watching too many of those cable re-design shows.
"I've got this fah-bu-lous greenish hue for the bahhthroom!"

Actually, it's starting to make sense to me. If you mix gray and green, you get exactly the color of the gack that coats the sidewalks outside all those fine Court Street establishments on the day after Halloween in Athens.
