OK it's five degrees outside, so I am thinking a bout baseball. I popped over to the baseball america site and they had Kent in their top 50.
Are they the odds on favorite to win the confrence?

Also, has any MAC team ever made the college world series? I seem to remember hearing that Eastern Mich did in the 70's.

They did. '75, I think.

OU made the CWS...I think it was in 73. It was Mike Schmitt's last year as a Bobcat. We finished 3rd, I believe knocking out the favorite.

Those days have passed though. I doubt a MAC team will ever make it again. We are just at too much of a disadvantage against the warm weather schools.
