The Atlantic-10 just stripped St Bonaventure of all league victories involving games in which Jamil Terrell, declared ineligible, played. If the NCAA promptly follows suit, that will make KENT 19-7 and TOLEDO 12-14.

How's that for improving our team and league ratings!?! :D

P.S. Here's the BIG STORY- The SBU players have since voted to forfeit the rest of the season. Check out the story at <a href='http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/atlantic10/2003-03-04-stbona-revolt_x.htm' target='_blank'>Revolting, Isn't It?</a>
I'm not sure it helps. Bonaventure is about to have one HORRID RPI :).
According to Jerry Palm (who knows from such things), Bona's record for purposes of the RPI calculations will not reflect the forfeits. I guess the games not played just won't go into the calculations at all.

And that's as it should be--any ratings system reflects your relative strength and it doesn't matter if you played the Dallas Mavericks--the game against whomever you played is a measuring stick, even if they had a player who shouldn't have been playing.

We will take the forfeit win, however! :D
