When Skipping College Is a More Savory Option
By HARVEY ARATON

If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone in the last three months say that LeBron James would be better off going to college for a year or two, I'd be rich enough to front him the money to become his agent.

As we sat in our throwback jerseys, watching March Madness unfold in all its network-hyped splendor
What a great article. Utterly fantastic.

In one sense it's a shame that it has to be written at all. No one ******* and tells Bill Gates he should have stayed in school.

But it's a profound article demonstrating many of the fallacies of the "get your education" argument. Curiously this argument usually comes from those w/ an interest that the young person get that education. I like how this article didn't pull punches at pointing out this is one more corrupt ideal from people w/ a long track record.
