Michael Turner followed by about 5 UT backs. :D
Josh Cribbs!
Trying to become the first player in NCAA history to rush and pass for 1000 yds each in three straight seasons.
Tell me he's not a running back!
03-wink

I think he's a running "for my life" back. ;-)

Butchie Wallace is very solid in the MUg attack and returns for his senior year. He'll never put the numbers of backs at other schools, but he is a definite contributer.
You can call Toledo "Running Back U." with these players that will split time:

Sophomore Astin Martin
Sophomore Trinity Dawson
Sophomore Quinton Broussard

These 3 players will equal around 1,500 yards and several TD's.
I think that the Toledo backs will produce more than 1500 yds. I believe that at least one of them will produce over 1000 yds and 10 touchdowns. I feel that Astin Martin will be that back, but Quentin Broussard has the skills to accomplish that also. I see Trinity Dawson splitting his yardage between rushing and receiving, mostly in long yardage situations.

Micheal Turner will again carry the load of the poodle's offense. He will probably have more yards than the rest of the poodle's offense combined.

Your're kidding right. UT doesn't have a RB named after the car, right. Let the James Bond references flow. Who's his sister, Money Penny?

How about NIU, with 4 straight 1,000 yd rushers including 3 straight first teamers and now the single season record holder! 04-bow 04-bow

Michael Turner is the best back in the MAC...period.

I'd keep my eye on PJ Pope of BG...as a true freshman, he filled in nicely for Joe Alls last yr when Joe injured his shoulder. Pope ended up with almost 600 yards in limited duty. Pope is #1 on the spring depth chart. 04-cheers
Gotta put in a plug for CMU's Terrance Jackson, a 1,000 yard rusher in 2001 who missed half of last season with an injury and never returned to 100%. Early reports say he's back down to a svelte 230 lbs. and showing no effects of last year's broken foot. B)
