If we weren't supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

I like meat. Steak is great. I won't actually kill an animal though. I don't want to see how they are prepared, I just want to buy it. I hate the thought of someone going out of their way to shoot an animal for "sport". I'd shoot a human before I shoot an animal that isn't bothering me. Humans get on my nerves sometimes.
I do hunt for "sport" but I also eat what I kill. I don't hunt rabbit because I don't care for how rabbit tastes. Maybe I'll change the motto to: if it's brown and edible it's down.

I thought the saying was "If it's brown, flush it down".....and I figured that referred to BUGS somehow... :D
