Wasn't FAMU considering a jump to I-A? The NCAA should never allow it now.

They were "talking about it", but the reality was that they weren't even close to being ready for it- and their administration soon realized it and backed off. Maybe they knew they were about to be busted big time.

I think FIU is getting in over their heads too. THey've averaged around 4K for football games, won just 5 games in their history, yet they've jumping to D1. FAU is premature too, but they have a more solid base....considering their going to the Sun Belt.

To FIU's credit, they'll have a $13 million budget for this fiscal year, bigger than many WAC and almost all Sunbelt schools.

Yes, they should have been stripped of all titles from the period that they were cheating, and then they should have been shown the door. Again.

How can this be possible, no player from FAMU can even count to 196!?!
