Over the 4th of July break I was back in eastern Ohio and Weirton, WV, visiting my wife's family. My wife's sister threw a big 4th of July party and there were a number of WVU grads at the shindig.........I was talking to 4 WVU grads about the Big East situation, and interestingly enough they all agreed on adding UL (and maybe UC), but to a man they spoke highly of Marshall as an addition, with the caveat being their hoops program.

Of course it's only a snippet, but sometimes I wonder if you get away from all these internet discussions you find that the average fan (well, actually a couple of these guys gave big bucks to WVU sports) welcomes regional rivalries that make sense.
I agree with you exC.

But there could be two expanations to this:

1. There is a reality out there that is not what is on these message boards.

2. People dont' talk so tough when they are actually in front of somebody. Meaning a lot of people get the tough guy attitude..................................when they are behind a keyboard.

Lesson #1 - don't believe everything you read on a message board!

Speak for yourself. I'm just as big a prick in real life as I am here. 03-wink

That's barely possible.
