Have you seen the Mullett man?

Quote:THE MISADVENTURES of Stan Hill continued last weekend.

The Marshall quarterback decided to take a quick trip to Myrtle Beach along with St. Albans native and MU tight end Jason Rader. Hill was scheduled to return to Huntington Sunday and accompany Marshall Sports Information Director Ricky Hazel to Detroit as MU's player representative at the MAC media day.

But, there was a hole in the plan. Not to mention in the restaurant parking lot Hill was driving through.

"It was like an uncovered culvert that was about 6 feet deep," said Hazel. "Apparently, Stan didn't see it and drove his car right into the hole."

The subsequent damage prevented Hill from returning to Huntington in time for the MAC media day. So, senior offensive tackle Nate McPeek is here taking Hill's place.

I thought his license was suspended for a previous problem he had.......not the incident at a fast food restaurant, but something before that?
In light of this incident, I fully expect MU opponents to dig a few innocent-looking holes by the MU sidelines. 03-wink
I would normaly comment, however, I'm in the middle of my summer reading . . .

Only at Marshall.. :D

I'm pretty sure he had a suspended license from Mississippi before he ran from the cops. He was at the fast food place in the passenger seat. But if he drove his car into a big hole, he was probably doing so on a suspended driver's license.

Didn't see a 6 foot hole in the ground? Damn is this kid stupid..... 03-banghead
The glimmer from his 2002 MAC championship ring temporarily blinded him, preventing him from seeing the 6ft hole in the ground. :D

To paraphrase "The Jerk:"

"Stan, THIS is your ******. And THIS is a hole in the ground."

"Ohhhhhhhhh."
Easy HuskieDan. 05-nono

Hill is not stupid, as a matter of fact, I look for him to shred the NIU "D" in the 2003 MACC. :cuss:

They described it on the radio last night as a manhole missing its cover.

FWIW.

That would make a lot of sense and maintain Chuck's record for accuracy. But he did have Ricky Hazel on the record. Hmmmmm.
I have heard he was driving on a suspended driver's license. Marshall fans, do you know if that is the truth and if he was cited for it?
He pled to driving on a suspended license back in April. Reading between the lines in the article linked below, however, it seems unlikely that his license remains suspended.

No need to get ahead of the facts here, folks.

Would it really matter? Remember who we're talking about here. The Ethical Backbone of America it is not.

He managed to fit his car into a manhole? What's he driving, a Yugo? And why is he driving?

So what's the punishment for driving with a suspended license? Being fined $325 and having your license reinstated??
