An officer in Ohio University's ROTC program has sued an employee of the university's athletics department over an incident last year in which the athletics staffer allegedly slugged him in an uptown Athens bar.
Darrell Mears, Jr., who according to OU's latest directory is an administrative non-commissioned ROTC officer, sued Wayne Horsley, OU's director of athletic equipment, in Athens County Common Pleas Court in April. Both men live in The Plains.
