Quite a few ranked teams lost today. Just looking at the Coaches Poll.....

#25 Air Force lost to Navy 28-25
#24 Florida lost to Mississippi 20-17
#22 Oregon lost to Utah 17-13 (Friday Night)
#14 Kansas State lost to Texas 24-20
#11 Michigan lost to Iowa 30-27

With numbers 22, 24, and 25 all losing....Miami and BG should get closer to cracking the Top 25, and one of them might make it in.
One can hope...but don't be surprised if NIU drops because 'Bama got beat so badly. 03-banghead

Seriously, there will be a bunch of musical chairs, but this should be the week. (AF getting ranked was a bit much. No offense to those Falcons, but they weren't impressive)

How about Urban's Utah Utes? Will he be a gator soon?
BG clearly has the better shot, since Miami was fairly far down the "also getting votes" section. But one can always dream. 04-rock

If Florida fires Zook after this season it will be a mistake. They have a good, but very young team. A lot of freshmen and sophomores on that team. Next year Florida will be very good.

I can see Meyer going to Northwestern though!
Don't Forget: UT got hosed by the Auburn team everybody thought was terrible after they lost to GT.

Don't be surprised if NIU drops after Ohio took 5 years off my life.

That just means Auburn will start getting votes again, and the MAC schools will still be left out. :(

Well, Auburn is just 3-2 so I wouldn't say they are great. I think Tennessee was ranked too high myself. They are a top 20 team but not a #7, more like a #15-20.
With the success the MAC has had this year against ranked opponents. the MAC haters are accumulating by the dozen so we would be lucky to have 2 MAC teams in the AP Poll or any other poll for that matter at the same time. Which BG should of cracked the top 25 in the AP since they were 28, and Louisville and NC State were 26 & 27 and they both lost, with Florida losing that would knock them out of the Top 25, yet BG moves up 2 spots and gets leap frogged by 3 other teams like Wisconsin beating Penn State,Virginia beating UNC, and Oregon St beating California were big feats.

You'd think the coaches of the teams that the MAC teams have left in their wake this year would be voting as high as possible to help their own squads out a little.
