It looks to me like the Humanitarian Bowl is in line for the sixth-best ACC team. If the ACC can't produce six, then the MAC would get the bid.

But if I'm right, it seems like we might have a chance. Way too early to tell, but check out the ACC standings:

It would depend on how conference play shakes out. But if three or four teams rip the others to shreds, enough teams may come up short of six wins for us to get a team in Boise.

Using Sagarin to predict remaining games, the end of season ACC will look like this.

Florida State 12-0
Wake Forest 9-3
Maryland 8-4
North Carolina State 8-4
Virginia 8-4
Clemson 6-6
Georgia Tech 5-7
Duke 2-10
North Carolina 2-10

The ACC has five for sure bowl eligible. The sixth will come from Clemson or Georgia Tech. I'll be very surprised if they both have less than six wins.

Speaking of bowl eligibility, the B10 has 7 solid teams this year, so it looks like the MCB will get a pretty decent B10 opponent this year. It'd be nice to see MSU or Purdue, but normally Minnehaha swoons late (plus they aren't as attractive as other B10 options) so I'll put my early money on them.

Stick, can you perform more of your Sagarin projection "magic" and give us those predictions of the B10 finishes........if I'm not mistaken, it might look like we'll see a 7-5 record this year instead of a a 6-6.
