Anyone from NIU or DeKalb know if your fans there are organizing groups for a trip to CMU?
I haven't been back to the Alma Mater in a few years, but I believe there's enough to see to fill your day or weekend.
Game-Day, for instance
Take a tour of campus.
Go to the Homecoming Parade.
Grab a couple quick drinks downtown at The Bird and The Pub.
Experience the pagentry of college football. (Kelly-Shorts seats 30,000; plus 1000s more of lawn seating.)
Have dinner at the brewpub or other many decent establishments around town.
Hit the top-notch Casino.
Wish I could be there. I must say it would be cool to see the Huskies have a miniature version of the Husker's Big Red Traveling Machine.
