BG was already in the East but they had to move us to the West to give Toledo competition so it wasn't a shoe in for them each year to win their division. Now u have Northern Illinois making the division stronger as well.

What I think that Kent State will need is scheduling assistance. I proposed on the KSU board that home games be played on Thurs. nights rather than on Sat.
Thurs. night games have worked out well at Kent. No tOAMu, students start partying early and go to the game, students haven't gone home. They drew over 15K for New Hampshire on a Thurs last year. Just think of what a MAC game might draw.
What this will require is scheduling assistance from the other MAC schools to keep the opponent and Kent from always playing on a short week.
It might work if the other schools want KSU as part of the MAC's future. Out of the box thinking and wins are what will save KSU in D-1A.
