According to knowledgable posters at Hawktalk, the game officially sold out around noon today, so no more of that half-empty C-USA "stuff" we're used to seeing on weeknights. (sorry, couldn't resist 03-lol )

Another MAC national TV game.........another SRO crowd! Gota love it!
That's good news for Miami and good news for the conference. Now, I just wonder if the concessions will be stocked up. I believe it was at Miami where they ran out of water by halftime one year.

Hey, BG was famous for running low on concessions at the half...ask the UT fans! 03-wink
I guess 6 straight losing seasons and 9k crowds will do that! 03-lol
4 straight 20,000 plus fans.... the concessions should have there stuff together.... Plus when we have run out of drinks... it has been 90 degrees out and each person was drinking 3 or 4 bottles of water or pop... who has 120,000 bottles of Pepsi Products on hand??? Although concessions certainly made a killing at $2.00 each... damn I think I should start vending drinks outside of Yager!
The Marshall game will be a sellout, too, BTW.

They were $2.50 at UT for years, now they're $3.00!!!! Even for water!

So much for the, "MAC fans don't show up or travel."

You think maybe it's just Marshall and Huntington? People don't want to go there. Period.
I dont' want to turn this positive thread into a "Marshall bashing" deal, but I do think that outside of ECU the Herd faithful will end up very dissappointed with the kind of "traveling" crowds they'll see in H-Ton from C-USA foes.
Whats the capacity of Yeager Stadium ?

Nope, not any more. When the magical 30K stadium size no longer mattered, Miami took out temp corner bleachers that got our capacity up from the original 25, 183 to 30K. I think that with "smaller" GA seats, the new capacity is stated as 27.5K, but that is probably optimistic. Anyway, we had 28K tonight on a Tuesday, with a couple thou standing I would think by the looks of it. After 4 home games our average is probably close to 25K per game now.
