Not only have they exploded to MACbbs-calibur proportions... but all these Marshall lurkers we had on MACbbs are appearing out of nowhere over on the CUSA board.

We read all the comments and dont have huge flame wars... thats the difference.... we actually put thoughts into our posts!
CUSA has a long way to go before they catch up to the MAC.....oh...and then there are the forums that they're behind too!

Isn't it funny how we used to talk about beating the C-USA teams all the time. Marshall fans used to join us in cracking on them........now Marshall is going to be one of the C-USA teams that will lose to the MAC teams.

We can only hope so. We were in the MAC but it was us winning the bowl games. Shouldn't be any different in another conference, except maybe against you guys.

Marshall is 4-1 at home against Toledo.
Obviously Marshall has had 3 more home games than Toledo has since they rejoined the MAC. However, Toledo is the only place that Marshall has not won at since rejoining the MAC......out of stadiums they have played at that is.
Overall, Toledo leads the series 22-18-1.

That's pretty close considering how dismal we used to be. Maybe we get a chance to even things up a little in December.

C-USA teams aren't eligible for the MACC. :wave:

I hear ya, but don't forget that Toledo had years we were lucky to win 1 or 2 games:
1959 - 2-6-1
1960 - 2-7
1961 - 3-7
1962 - 3-6
1963 - 2-7
1964 - 2-8
And another run of great years:
1976 - 3-8
1977 - 2-9
1978 - 2-9
Luckily, 1978 was the last time we only won 2 games in a season.
See, Marshall isn't the only school that had tragically terrible years......we just don't talk about it the way Marshall fans do when they say they went through the tough years and now are so great.
