With Miami a short drive from putting this one away, it's become quite clear that the conference's own depth is killing it. I just hope Miami enters the top 25 without BG leaving, but I doubt it.
AP Poll: I'd very surprised if Miami isn't a lock in the next poll. Plus, if enough teams 20+ lose, BGSU might barely stay in (remember, they are #15 this week).

Coaches: I don't count on that poll for much of anything.
BG might hand in there in the AP poll, and they would've fer sure if the game had been closer. I see them coming in around #25 or #26 depending on how the other teams do......Miami should jump in around #22 I'd guess.
The NIU @ BGSU and BGSU @ Miami contests (not to mention Va Tech @ WVU and Miami(FL) @ Va Tech) illustrate the advantages of playing key conference clashes in front of the home crowd. I believe this all justifies the "MACC location" arguments of yesteryear, and why it was such a hot topic.
lots of conferences depth kill them. Its just the way of college ball these days.
Don't you guys worry about Miami and BG in the polls. Based on what happened last week, NIU will demolish buffalo and move down in the polls. We are winning our way out of the top 25  . This will make room for Miami. BG should still be in the AP poll.
Bowling Green will hang in at about No. 25, I think. I'm not arguing that was a Top 25 performance, but... it's poll logic.

Help me understand this comment - I see it frequently, especially from writers. But I know that writers don't see anymore football games than coaches do.
