Miami has yet to win the MAC-East title.
Miami hasn't been to a bowl since Big Ben was lil' Ben.
Miami will likely be playing to preserve a much deserved top25 ranking.
Miami will be playing to preserve one of the nations longest winning streaks.
Miami has been marking the days since last Nov.12 when they let one get away, again.
Miami (to put it kindly) still has a bad taste in their mouth after all the post-game hub bub last year.
Miami has to win this game or else they will AGAIN be the best team in the nation sittin' at home come December.

Miami, with all of their angst built up and with years of pent up frustration on their side, should beat Marshall on Wednesday night.

FMJ, for all the reasons you list, as well as the performance I saw Big Ben put on in Toledo last year, I agree with you 100%....they (Miami) should win. I'll be watching this one for sure, cuz I'm sure Marshall isn't going to just lay down.
