It's looking like it will be a relatively decent day for football, at this point. Chance of some rain/snow showers, but the high will be near 50 around game time. Hopefully, that forecast improves as we get closer to gameday.
GO ROCKETS!!!

GO ROCKETS!!!
I heard that! BG hosts Kent and kickoff is 6pm. I'll take 50 degrees as long as its dry any day for the middle of November. The wife won't want the youngins out in cold, damp weather. I might have to fly solo!
GO FALCONS!!!!
The forecast has been upgraded to only a 10% chance of precipitation, with a mostly sunny high of 49 degrees.
THAT'S FOOTBALL WEATHER!!!

Not that it will do any good but you might want to point out that colds are caused by a
virus - not the weather.
But then you're likely to get "Yes, but the cold weather weakens their immune system and increases the chances they catch the virus" (Whether or not that's true, I don't know, but apparently it is because my wife says so, and she knows everything :D )
It's not true, but it's also not an argument that you're likely to win. :D

I've been fighting that good fight for 12 years now and I have nothing but losses to show for it. And with the recent arrival of baby corn, I'm beginning to believe it's a lost casue.
Speaking of which, NIU is at the Glass Bowl this Saturday. What time should I plan to get to lot 10 to begin working on my virus?
Breakfast is being served by chupp at 10AM on the north side of lot 10. You have to wear your corn hat to particiapte. Looking forward to a great game. I expect a high scoring shoot out.

Well, naturally. Wait, are there actually people who participate WITHOUT corn hats?!
What the hell kind of a barbaric place is Toledo anyway?
We won't be able to make the 10am breaskfast. My comrades will be leavin DeKalb at 7central, picking me up in Chicago at 8. If everything goes according to plan, we should be in the Glass bowl parking lot by 1 eastern.

Is that like the one's you see on a salad bar?
Upgraded weather report. Getting warmer! Gonna be a beautiful day for kicking your dogs.

NIU never loses when the UV index is 2 Minimal or above.
Toledo's 24-6 lead in the series tells me otherwise!

Should be another classic between these two teams, UV rating or not.
I think I will serve corn dogs to honor this special occasion. If the vaunted Rocket D performs up to expectations, there will be offensvie records set in this one.
