They will be in trouble because like past Marshall teams, Miami has to pass to set up the run.Marshall dosen't.Butchie and Earl will run the ball all over the place
I would like to see Coach Pruett run a two back set that would really throw them off

I'm not worried about the rain. I'm more worried about the wind advisory.

That wind is the just the air being let out of someone's balloon.
Just don't axe me to predict whose balloon.
Looking forward to the game...

The Herd could have used something to set up their running game when they were fourth and a foot against Toledo.

Northwest OHIO IS FLAT... WINDY ALL YEAR ROUND... HELL WOOD COUNTY... 20 miles north HAS WIND TURBINES!!!

I watched Benny Boy torch us at the Doyt in 2001. The wind will not be a problem for him. I don't know where you people getthe notion that Miami needs the pass to set up the run. They have a very good, experienced OL and a set of good running backs.
The MAC is a very difficult conference for road underdogs. As much as I hate to have to do this, I must admit that Toledo is the only MAC squad that has definitively shown that they can beat the other top squads on the road (NIU last year, Herd this year).
You guys haven't shown that yet

well I guess Miami wasn't a 'top squad' in '01 or '99 then........
we have not won in Toledo, I will give you that

Miami is averaging 160.6 yards rushing per game......4.2 yards per rush. They have scored 24 rushing touchdowns this season.
If you think Big Ben is the only reason Miami is good this year then you are going to be in for a surprise tonight!

Miami can run the ball well and they have an excellent defense. However it seems like they have a few soft spots in the secondary.Hopefully Watts,Davis and Schroeder can get open.Miami also had trouble against Kent State,Grahm is no J Cribbs but he can run the ball.Should be a good game :)

'01 or '99... I'm sorry, what year is it now?

The year is 2003, the same year we beat Kansas State on the road :D
With only eight conference losses since rejoining the MAC in 1997 I don't think Oxford will be too scary. If Marshall can hold on to the ball it will be a good game.If we start having turnovers it could be a long night.
