Who's Hot From CFN:
Freshman running backs at directional Michigan schools
Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan are never going to receive much national attention, but they each have two fantastic, similar freshman backs who

Not that different. In-conference, as UCF found out, the teams have better scouting reports, know your tendencies, and play harder. Everyone in the conference wants to smack each other in the proverbial mouth.
Gotta disagree with you though. UNLV has been very inconsistent this year. Kansas beat them by 22 points, and the game wasn't even that close. Then they go and beat Wisconsin by 18 points. Then they barely beat Nevada by 4 points. They lost at home to a terrible BYU team, and then they go on the road and beat a New Mexico team that was 5-3 going into the game.

Big difference between UNLV and NIU. NIU lost two games on the road against the two teams that are battling for the West Division Title.

Also, I'd contend BG and Toledo faced a very different NIU team than the team that defeated Maryland and Alabama. By the time we faced the Rockets, half our starting D was out, as well as their replacements at two key positions. To the best of my knowledge, UNLV's troubles aren't the result of significant injuries.

I knew this post had to have some UCF reference in it.

You'll have to pardon us, we're all obsessed with UCF. So, how long before the Knight's superior talent dominates C-USA? Enquiring minds want to know...
UNLV is terrible.
NIU also found out that while your conference breatheren will celebrate your big ooc wins, they will want to beat you all the more because of them. UCF is finding out that conference foes listen closely and have loooong memories.

You think we're surprised that our conference foes want to beat us?

They are not terrible, just very inconsistent because of terrible coaching. They did win @ Wisconsin 23-8. That is not terrible.
